Q: Does the card use active or passive technology?

No moving parts, no battery, so I would describe it as passive.

Q: How would i know what frequency my cards use? this product won't work with: frequency from 100khz to 125khz.

The best bet is to contact the manufacturer.

Q: Has anyone tested these?

Only testing I been able to do is use them and hope they are really more then a aluminum card. So bad things so far.
