The Lanolips 12 Hour Overnight Lip Mask is exactly what my lips needed! I live in a dry climate which translates to really dry skin, including my lips. I feel like I’ve tried every lip regime and product on the market (from drug store brands up to $70 luxury treatments) and haven’t found something with a noticeable difference. Until now. For a few months, I have applied the Lanolips 12 Hour Overnight Lip Mask nightly before bed and wake up to a plump and revitalized pout. Since using it, I have noticed that I’m not reaching for lip balm as frequently throughout the day. Unlike other products, I don’t experience instant relief when I apply this mask; however, when I wake up, the change in my lips is incomparable. This has quickly become a staple for my nighttime routine. Now that I’ve tried it, I understand why this is such a cult favorite!

It definitely works…. When you have it on. Once morning comes I feel like it’s all wiped off but my lips are still soft for about and house then they feel dry again. I won’t buy it again for the price but I’ll continue using it.

I apply this right before bed, and can still feel it when I wake up the next day. Pleasant scent, smooth application, keeps lips the exact 100% opposite of chapped.

Good stuff, but only good for night because it is very thicck

If you were a fan of the OG Bite Agave Lip Mask, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy this product. Any differences in effect, texture, or lasting power are imperceptible to me.A major dissimilarity in experience, however, is you will probably feel some level of stinging—the package does warn you that the stinging is to be expected upon initial application due to the ingredient Vitamin C. For me personally, the stinging lasts longer when my lips are in worse condition, so the discomfort will either completely subside or continue to feel like a mild lip plumper. This may or may not be a deal breaker for some people.For those who are curious about a comparison to lanolin alone, I far prefer this lip mask because it has a thicker texture and smells slightly sweet (masking the natural lanolin smell that I find hard to tolerate). To me, pure lanolin feels too slippery and oily once it’s melted and settled in, but this lip mask retains some heft and a bit of stickiness.This lip mask’s level of stickiness helps it last throughout the night even after some has transferred off onto my pillow while sleeping. Some people won’t like this for daytime use because long hair will stick to your lips at least a little bit, but I enjoy it because the product doesn’t just jump ship onto whatever cup or straw I’m drinking from. It’s far from the stickiest lip product I’ve ever tried, but maybe skip this if you know you enjoy only lip oils for this reason.

I absolutely love this lip balm. The only drawback is that it stains fabric.

BURNED LIPS IMMEDIATELY! I have used Lanolips before with no issue, laneige and others. Had high hopes this 12 hour one would be similar to the Bite Agave Lip mask that I used to use. Immediately after putting this on my lips it began to burn. It continued to burn with increasing intensity. I DO NOT recommend!

Pricey stuff but works great. I hate picky lips. A little goes a long way.
