Q: What are the ingredients in this?

Don't know exactly. They're listed on the packet but I can't read Chinese. However, they are usually a combination of medicinal (mainly blood moving) herbs and heat producing oils (menthol, eucalyptus, etc) or spices (chili or cayenne pepper). Hope this helps.

Q: Do you stick these to your clothes or stick them to your skin? I have tried both ways and they dont heat up, am i doing something wrong?

I have stuck them on my back along the left and right of my spine the big muacles that run along both side of spine and they did get very hot for me I almost had to remove them. I used it on my upper legs too on the side this is where i have allot of sting and numbness and they do give me temporary relieve but it does not get really hot there because the muscle is really big. A very good chinese oil which will warm up anymuscle you can throw at it and will give healing and relieve if these plasters in not enought is called "Wood Lock" you can find it here or in a chinese harbal store I use this too when i am in very bad shape. But make sure washing your hands 4 times atleast with soap after wards before you touch your private parts it will burn down there. I love the smell and it work well. Hope this helps.

usually it can be effective within 48 hours whatever if you cut it

No they should not be used during or after swimming or bathing Best use at night while sleeping do not keep on skin more than 8 hours a day
