The crucible tongs size are 6 inch, normally this set of foundry tongs suitable for 12KG or 15KG or 16KG large crucibles. If your crucibles are not brand of LSMIITTH, please make sure the crucible out diameter at least 6 inches. Otherwise you need to forge the tongs.
Be Attention: Different brands of crucibles may have different sizes. For your safty, You need ensure that the lifting tongs or pouring tongs fully fit with your crucibles before use. Heating the tongs and then you could adjust the jaws of the tong with a harmmer easily.
