Walker Edison Hazel Modern Farmhouse 3 Drawer Framed Nightstand with Half-Moon Handles, 25 Inch, White Oak

First, I don’t know what privileged world other reviewers (on this site and others) live in where they haven’t had to assemble budget furniture before. This took me about an hour and a half to assemble and is on par with similar furniture from big box stores in this price point. It was not difficult in any way and all pieces fit together well.Second, the color is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. It is a very warm gray and not as cool as the stock picture. It looks prettier in person.Seems sturdy as well. I recommend this nightstand.

I am very disappointed... It came in small pieces and some screws and some glue to put it "together" - are you kidding me... glue??? Some parts are cardboard thin and some are not even numbered. I am extremely disappointed and will not even to attempt to assemble this so-called "night stand". It's heavy, so, returning it is even a bigger pain, but I have to return this immediately!!!

Do not believe the reviewer who said she assembled the nightstand in 1 1/2 hours. Perhaps that review was for a simpler piece, such as an end table. I'm pretty experienced at assembling furniture kits, and it took me at least 3 hours all told. All of the parts were labeled and identified in the instructions. (I did the assembly in stages, since I don't have that much time at once.) I love the color and quality of this nightstand. The only issue I had was with the drawer sliders. The printed instructions show the placement in two different locations. Luckily I figured out that the second location is the correct one. In addition, I noticed that the pre-drilled holes for one set of the slider screws were very slightly out of alignment. I decided to proceed anyway, trusting that quality control wouldn't have allowed that if it were important. Unfortunately, it WAS important and it took more force to close the drawer than it should have after assembly, which ruined the slider and the drawer doesn't close all the way. Walker Edison customer support has been wonderful and sent me a replacement slider. Now all I have to do is figure out how to remove the damaged slider and install the replacement. This will be tricky since the rest of the nightstand has been assembled (including gluing the dowels). I have a second nightstand to assemble now, and have also ordered two end tables with drawers. If I see pre-drilled slider screw holes at all out of alignment, I will drill new ones in the proper alignment. All that said, I am delighted with Walker Edison furniture.
