Maybe TOO subtle??
The pretty packaging of this product led me to believe that I was in for something along the lines of a sparkly rainbow unicorn highlight that can be seen from outer space...or maybe that was my hope, as I prefer a slightly more noticeable glow. This is not that. If SUPER subtle is your thing, like you prefer a fairy to just whisper softly on your cheeks with whatever tiny remnants of dust she has left after a LOOONG night of fairying, as opposed to unicorn vomit, this might be for you.

Gives a warm shiny glow to your face. Sensitive skin didn't get acne from it, smell is okay. Lipstick sized stick.

This is good for natural subtle glowing look
I think this glow/highlighter balm is perfect for me because I want natural glow with light makeup. It was easy to use, and you can apply it without touching it or using an applicator. I used it on my cheek bone part and it gave me natural glow look, I am satisfied.

Difficult to work with and little pay off
I'll start off by saying that I'm not obsessed with super bright highlighters but I was initially attracted to something that would give a more subtle, lit-from-within look. Unfortunately, this is so subtle that I'm was left wondering if the "glow" is actually coming from the sparkle or the sheen from the balm formula. There is a decent amount of product and it's a balm like texture that quickly warms on skin. It's a light lavender in color but you can see that it sheers out upon application so it didn't actually show up on my skin very well. The picture of my hand uses a sizable amount of product in order to just get it to show up. The third picture is in front of a window and shows the product applied to my cheek and you can see that it's difficult to discern the highlighter. This also brings me to my next point which is the application. I was able to apply it without any issues on bare skin but it was very difficult to do so on a set foundation. For reference, I usually do a medium coverage foundation which I then set with a setting spray. Yet despite warming the product on the back of my hand and lightly taping it in, it would lift my base. every. single. time. I only had moderate success by rubbing the highlighter on the back of my hand, and using my fingers to veeeery gently tap it in. But the pay off wasn't worth the effort it took to apply.Overall, this product isn't for me and would be best suited for someone who maybe just wants to use it on bare skin and wants a very very subtle look.

Very subtle on fair skin
The highlighter tube is a nice color and it's basic packaging and twist up for product. The highlighter itself is very light on fair skin and subtle, so it's great if you're not looking for a super glossy/shiny highlighter. The product feels easy to wipe off and similar to the texture of chapstick. There's a strong floral scent to it as well. Overall, it's just okay for me personally.

Subtle sheen
This is a very easy to use twist up clear balm. There is no iridescence or glitter to it, but it has a faint violet pigment. One stroke provides a sheer layer. I have sensitive skin and, after wearing all day, I had no issues. I used it under and over makeup with no issues either way. Likewise, I found that using a heavy hand gave a more noticeable sheen in the areas applied. I did not find it greasy or sticky on my dry skin, immediately after application or at the end of the day. I like all the flower extracts used in the product, the additional additives not so much. Warning listed for consumers with carmine allergy. I can see it used by people with dry skin to keep moisture in.
