Gorgeous Console, Great Value!
I absolutely love this modern TV console cabinet! The fluted design and white-washed wood finish give it such a high-end, luxurious lookâespecially for the price. I was a little unsure about the color at first, but once it was all set up, I completely fell in love. It adds such a clean, elegant vibe to the room.Assembly was straightforward and way easier than I expected, which was a huge plus. The quality feels solid and sturdy, and it has plenty of storage for everything I needed.Highly recommend if youâre looking for something stylish, functional, and budget-friendly!

Great buy! Pics of broken board with tape are misleading.
The media could not be loaded. When you open the box the first piece you see is a long thin narrow board made of two different finishes, and taped together. This is sufficient to turn off some customers thinking they got a damaged product. After all, why bother unpacking the remaining pieces (which are heavier) if the first thing you see looks like major damage. Trust me, however, this piece of board is just for packaging only. You do not need this board when assembling the cabinet. Look at my video and see for yourself.Additionally, donât be turned off by reviews saying the product takes very long to assemble. Donât be turned off by reviews saying the doors donât align. These issues all boil down to the patience, common sense, DYI experience, and skill level of the person. The product is designed to impress and the instructions are clear. One review showed the entire hing ripped off from the cabinet. The part of the hinge that connects to the inner side panel of the cabinet has 4 holes. I decided not to use all 4 screws for each hinge. Instead I used two and screwed 1 in the top left and the other in the bottom right. My thinking was that screwing 4 screws in a very small area on this type of wood would weaken the area. Weâll se how that goes.Another review showed the door not staying shut. For the door to stay shut, you need to adjust the hinge so the top part of the door makes full contact with the push button/magnet. If the door only partially covers this button you will have issues keeping to door closed.Another review complained about missing drilled holes in the back of the cabinet. Firstly, using the few drilled holes that exist is sufficient to keep the back panel in place. Secondly, the back panel comes with additional slots so you have the option of inserting additional screws which are provided. You donât need a drilled hole to drive in a wood screw into a piece of wood. Wood screws are pointy enough so you can drive in the screw just with a bit of force for the âteethâ to catch.

Looks nice, reasonable build quality, priced appropriately; instructions not great
I like the size, the way it looks, reasonable build quality, and its decent value. The instructions are simple enough, but make it easy to miss things. For example, between one step and the next, the stand was flipped and there was no mention of it in the text that I could find. You have to have a keen eye and identify some subtle differences/context clues in the image to have noticed. Speaking of text, there's not a lot. It's a very visually-driven instruction manual, which is how I personally prefer it; but at the same time, little details can be missed. There's a fair chance that eventually you'll have to undo something to correct it.Not much in the way of pilot holes--you'll be relying on the included self-tapping hardware. The hardest (or rather, most tedious) part of assembly is adjusting the hinges/doors for perfect alignment. It doesn't help that the hinges depicted in the manual are not quite the same as those included, but the adjustments are mostly the same.I can't say how long it'll take because I got inturrupted several times, but my gut says an hour with one person, maybe 1. 5 hours if you're a perfectionist when it comes to door alignment.I do feel like there should have been small magnetic plates to attach to the door to hold it against the rebound mechanism (and it even looks like there's a small magnet in the mechanism), but none were received or mentioned in the instructions. This small exclusion does make it seem like a less refined product, but it's certainly livable.Really, other than the mediocre instructions and tedious door alignment (which is ideally a one-time challenge), I'm very satisfied with the result. It looks exactly as described (at least in black) and is appropriately priced and fair quality. I still feel the need to dock a star (would do just 1/2 star if I could) for the weak instructions, but I otherwise highly recommend it if you like the size, look, and features.
