These oyster shell pills are perfect for morning. They are slightly smaller than others, which I appreciate, and seem to have a smooth coating (it's blue!) that also helps make them easy to swallow. Some calcium supplements are like "horse pills" and I often choke on them so I like these for the ease of swallowing. I had no issues after taking one. The jar has an inner foil seal and expires in about 16 months, so there is plenty of time to use them.

These 500 mg capsules are large, but they’re not so huge that it’s hit or miss when trying to swallow. Made from oyster shells, the main ingredient is calcium carbonate (500 mg) and Vitamin D (5mcg) which helps with absorption of the calcium. One tablet taken twice a day provides 76% of the RDA for calcium and 50% of Vitamin D.

A great way to get calcium and vitamin D to help with bone strength. These are easy to swallow and don't have any bad taste or bad aftertaste.

One tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon gets me all the calcium I need to keep my bones healthy. A very cost-effective way to take calcium supplements. A four-month supply for $13 is a bargain. These tablets are my way of being sure that I have enough calcium even when I am traveling. Easy to swallow.

I really am liking this oyster shell calcium supplement. It arrived quickly and will package. The capsules are standard size capsules and easy to swallow. There is no discernible taste or odor. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects so far! I think it’s a good value and hopefully it’s effective. I can’t really tell either way!
