Works, I was skeptical but they’re great. Thin but not cheap in my opinion. They are meant to be temporary but these will last a while. The stick is great but if needed in the years to come I’ll add tacks to hold it up. Has Velcro to hold it down but I kept my shades on the wider side and tucked them in and they stayed down on their own. Fits behind my pre-existing blinds really well. I bought the black for max darkness.No light gets thru. This is end of the day when the photos were taken. Pics taken 5 mins apart.Oh, I cut the length off one and it fit in another window, so I tacked it up in there. Perfect.

These far exceeded the quality I expected. They block out the sun (got the dark grey, which has foil on one side), they're nice and heavy, they stick well, and they hang nicely. I got these because my new, insanely feisty kitten was attacking and digging her claws into my expensive accordian shades, so I keep those permanently pulled up now, and purchased these to use instead. If my cat claws and punctures these, it's no big loss to replace them again. If you need something temporary for your windows, or just something very affordable, I would recommend these. I'm very happy with them.

Received the shades in a in a slim shortbox folded over in three places. I was happy with the fabric type material than paper like. It seems like it would be stronger and be easier to clean. I'm just hoping with time the creases from the folds will disappear.

These work GREAT!!I hung them on my bedroom window for when I need to rest during the day.They do exactly what they're supposed to do, make your room dark.A little light might show on the sides, depending on how wide your window is.I also have room darkening curtains, which take care of that problem for me.I've had them close to a year, and they've held up well.

Good quality. Handy to use. Inexpensive and a good value. I have 5 of these shade in my living room and bedrooms. Love how well they filter the sunlight and protect furniture from the sun. The paper type fabric is very strong and durable. Only one of the shades did not want to stick and that was because the window frame where the shade was attached was not as wide as the width of the top of the shade. Love the colors the shades come in. The shades are easy to trim if trimming is necessary. We live in a rural area, closest neighbor is more than a mile away; we did not have any window coverings; however, my west windows in the early spring bring way too much bright sunlight in and distort colors on the TV screens. These shades work perfectly. There are 2 clothes pin like clips enclosed to clip the shades to whatever length you need. I am planning to buy more,

I purchased these shades and soon as I opened the box I was disappointed in the packaging. These shades should be $5. Mini blinds at Walmart are cheaper than this purchase. They put more money into the packaging than the product itself. The fold in the center makes it difficult to do the fan design.While yes they are lightweight they lost shape pretty fast. ( Within days) They now look like I have flat paper hanging to my windows mind you I purchased 3. So that's 39.00 to waste. After looking at them I decided I could have made them with a yardstick, two sided sticky tape or a staple gun with fabric ( I'm a seamstress) but chose to purchase something no fuss bc this is my first apartment ( empty nester) with no children, I work 7 days a week 3 shifts per day and didn't want to make curtains. That I now have to make. I couldn't send them back and ask for a refund bc I used them all. But I don't recommend them and would never purchase again not even for a small window. For those it worked for good for them. But EVERYDAY since my purchase I have to come home and adjust these pieces of paper that now hang past my windows ledge. It's sickening to look at from the outside & inside.

These are perfect for my needs. The sun in Sol Cal is brutal and these keep it out. Also, there are no cords for my kitty to tangle in. A win win. I will be getting more for my other windows.

I like the convenience of this temp shade. It is attractive. It was easy to cut to my window specifications. The issue I have is the sticky hook and loop they provide for mounting is not keeping the blind in place. They send two small strips per blind, when applied if they are to far to the edge they allow the center to droop slightly. The next one I applied more toward the center and the edges drooped. The next morning one of the shades was on the floor. In summary the product is great, but they need to do better with the mounting material- better quality and more of it.
