I hate having cold feet and never can manage house slippers. I'm diabetic and not supposed to go around barefoot. In the summer I wear flip-flops but in the winter I need something warmer. These socks are perfect for keeping my toes warm. Actually, they keep my feet warm and cozy. They are cute and wash well. I don't slip on my hardwood floors. My only complaint was that they were delivered in torn packaging. This shouldn't take away from the socks so I'd give this 4.75 stars to call attention to the packaging delivery problem.
