Q: Is the paper suitable for acrylic and watercolour mediums?

Hello, thank you for your query. The book has cartridge paper in so it is suitable for sketching, graphics work and a light wash but beyond that you will get buckling of the paper as it dries. If this is an issue then you would be better with heavier watercolour paper (generally around 270 - 300gsm) or a multi-media paper such as the Canson pads available on Amazon. Q: can i draw on the front cover or is it glossy

Hi, Many thanks for your enquiry. The natural hardboard cover on the Enviro Wirobound Sketchbook isn't glossy, but has a soft/slightly textured surface. It may not be ideal for drawing on because it isn't smooth. Enviro covers are a recycled product and therefore each one can vary slightly in colour and texture. I hope this helps. Q: Is this scrap ideal for sticking in photos?

Yes. I have done exactly that. The pages are quite thick and good quality

Q: Is the packaging good? A couple reviews mention damaged cover/pages. I'd like to buy one if packaging has improved and is resistant.

Hi, Thanks for your enquiry. Amazon package and dispatch the sketchbooks so we don't have any control over this, but the items should reach you in a good condition. (Unfortunately it seems that the odd one has slipped through the net). The sketchbooks have natural hardboard covers which are extremely durable and very resistant to atmospheric conditions - unlike many greyboard sketchbooks. I hope this is useful.
