how  many servings in the bottle?   If it is 2 tbs per servings as I think it says, which is only 9 servings, that is extremely expensive for so little an amount

It would depend on the size of the bottle.  I use the 225 Gram and it lasts 3 months, I use a teaspoon a day in a green smoothie, so more like 90 servings in that size.  I have not used the recommended serving because I feel great with the teaspoon a day.   If I miss a day I notice the difference that day.  Another way to stretch the product is to mix two teaspoons with water in a 32 oz bottle and keep it in the refrigerator, it hydrates the algae and drink 8oz per day for 4 days and see how that works.

Question 2

I received this today and there was no safety seal and powder is glittery. Is this normal?

When you say there was no safety seal do you mean no inner seal?  Did it have a clear plastic shrink wrap seal around the neck of the bottle?  It's supposed to have a shrink wrap seal around the lid and neck of the bottle.  As for the powder being glittery that is normal.  I have confirmed that with a manufacturer.  It's the way the stuff i made that causes it to sort of crystallize and have a sparkly look to it.  How does it taste?  Did it cause a burning sensation in your mouth?  Did it cause any pain in your liver?  These might be signs it is could be contaminated.
