These shoes arrived in a timely manner packaged so no damage occurred during shipping. The fit was great and quality of the shoes are great. I would recommend these sandals and the seller.

Fantastic shoes
A friend of mine told me about Keen a year ago and I absolutely love their shoes. I love hiking in the mountains but my feet aren't what they used to be and I have to stop more often to rest. I went to bass pro and tried on some Keen shoes and instantly loved them so much that I literally danced out of the store.

Favorite outdoor sandals
Favorite sandals for outside use including hiking and canoeing. They don't come in wide width but do stretch with wear so able becomes very comfortable.

Good for Hiking / Bad for Breathability
I was looking for some good hiking sandals for an upcoming trip, and these fit MOST of the criteria I was looking to fill.First, the cons: They don’t have the most comfortable insoles. They’re more rigid and less cushiony than I was expecting, and they also having ridges, but I suppose those are the trade-offs for their being odor resistant. That being said, the insoles aren’t UNcomfortable, they’re just not exceptionally comfortable.Another comfort drawback is the pull tab on the heel. For some reason, only the left one rubs me the wrong way, and badly enough that it gave me a blister on the back of my ankle just above the collar of the sandal the first day I wore them. Hopefully it’ll soften up over time, or I’ll have to cut it off.The biggest drawback, and ultimately the reason I knocked off a star, is the lack of breathability. You’d think that being sandals, they’d be pretty airy, but they’re actually rather suffocating, and that is 100% due to the neoprene lining. If the lining was some type breathable mesh instead of neoprene, I would’ve just checked 5 stars and called it a day, but as it stands, these sandals give me sweaty feet, which is an issue I’ve never had with any other pair of sandals or even shoes. And in the plus column: Even though the neoprene isn’t breathable, it does make for a snug fit, which is obviously a benefit to hiking on uneven terrain. Another element that aids in the snug fit is the lacing system. I read another reviewer complain that they had trouble getting the tongue to align properly when lacing up, but that was not my experience. The soles are also good for hiking. Substantially thick yet flexible, with good tread and traction. I haven’t worn them in any wet conditions as yet, so I can’t confirm their claim of waterproofing, but the soles seem like they’ll fare well on slippery stones.Other positives are the fit (I wear a 13 and these ran true to size), the color is true to the pictures, and while only time will tell, the construction feels solid and they should stand up to some substantial use before starting to degrade. Conclusion: If you’re looking for snug fitting, close toed sandals that are good for hiking, these could be a good choice, but if breathability is a top priority for you, then you should keep looking, because you won’t find it here.

Slip Slidin' Away
1. The shoes have no traction on slick surfaces, so don't try to cross a creek by jumping from stone to stone.2. There is no insole. You'll be walking on hard plastic with no cushioning. Very uncomfortable.

Very comfortable, durability TBD
I tried a number of these Keen hiking sandal styles, and this is the one that works best for me. I can be anywhere from a 12 med to 13.5 wide depending on the shoe, so fit is usually all over the place. These 12's fit like a glove, though I will say they feel slightly smaller than Newports/H2's. I'm not sure they'd work for me with socks, but the upside is they fit snug enough to where I leave them totally loose for walking around, where they are very comfortable and secure, and only need cinched when it's time to do their thing. Styling wise, I find these much more appealing than Newports. I know those are great, but I don't like the more clown shoe look and feel for street wear. Other reviews make me question durability, so hopefully these are more like Newports in that regard.

What Happened to Keen?
Keen is, or was, known known for footwear with a wide toe box. After wearing out my prized pair of Newports, I figured I deserved a new pair of sandals. Sadly, everything I tried was surpringly narrow. I kept this pair hoping to adapt but they're a bust. I hope someone at my local thrift will enjoy them.
