Will not work with 888 SmartCode Electronic Deadbolt with Z-Wave Technology in DR Horton homes
absolutely worthless when trying to add 888 SmartCode Electronic Deadbolt with Z-Wave Technology. considering DR Horton installed these on 1000's if homes this is unexceptable. So if you have a DR Horton home with this zwave deadbolt dont bother. will not work. will come up as a unkown z wave device. informed by Kwikset to get a aeotec hub if you do not want to pay monthly fees.

Homey bridge, great for a smart home
I've been looking for something to make my smart lock from Schlage work... well smart. Most smart hubs are big bucks so I never did it. Then I came across this! It's affordable and works great. Setting it up was easy via the app and I have my lock smart in no time!

Homey Pro’s Companion
I may or may not work; you can’t tell what it’s doing.

Not ready for primetime
There are some interesting things in the homey space but it’s so inconsistent on what’s supported and so awkward that somehow it made me appreciate Alexa routines… and those are not good. I didn’t mind paying a monthly fee if that supported good UI development and robust ecosystem. And maybe in Europe where homey started it does. But almost anything worth doing requires their Homey Pro that’s 6x the price. And given the gap between marketing and reality for this one, I’m not going to pay $400 and hope it actually works.I think that most of the things I want to do can we handled via Shelly relays. And since every hub brand wants me to be a programmer to do very basic things (open blinds and turn on fan when it’s warm in the room and it’s the morning). I might as well just do nodeRed or HA.I was really hoping Homey would bridge that gap but the number of skills that might have made it work that were restricted to the pro version (which is unavailable right now in the US)… not there yet. Maybe in a few more years.

Rollin' with my Homey
Wanted a device that could tie some of my smart home devices together so I could operate them easier -- and didn't want to spend a ton of money. I was able to connect my SONOS, TV, lights, thermostat and door lock easily in the Homey app. I don't have a ton of smart home devices to connect, so I like that if I do buy more smart devices, I can just upgrade to the premium app version for a small monthly subscription. I also like that Homey isn't making me their product and seems concerned with user privacy -- which is a big reason I got rid of Alexa. Set up was fairly simple and I like that I can now use the flows on Homey to set up my SONOS to start/stop playing when the lights switch on and off. Going to try setting up some other flows this weekend.

This version is pretty pointless
The newer, very expensive "Pro" model which isn't yet available in USA is required to do most things. This version is barely more useful than just the app itself.

Does not work.
The first devices I tried to connect to it was a GoControl thermostat. It would only recognize it as a generic z-wave device with on operational capabilities. It constantly dropped in and out of the network even though it was only 15 feet from the wireless router. The only thing good about it was the pretty light ring. I returned it for a refund.

"Flow" feature is a standout
Impressed with the Homey Bridge and its software, which has a standout feature called "flow" for true home automation. Setting up the Homey Bridge was quick and straightforward, and the interface is simple and user-friendly. While some smart devices like Sonos and Spotify were quickly identified, I had to manually search for and add others such as WiZ, Yale, Samsung TV, and Google Nest. Despite this, having access to all my smart devices in one app is incredibly useful, and I no longer have to waste time searching through my iPhone apps. Overall, the Homey Bridge has made managing my smart home much easier.
