Miracle spray!
I’m not sure how it didn’t work for people because it was a miracle on our pool wall! I used a hammer to break up the larger build up areas and then started spraying and watched it fall away. Definitely spray as many times as needed. I covered up some tough grout spots with the plastic wrap and will leave it for awhile now. Definitely worth every penny.

Does not work any better than muriatic acid at many multiples of the price
Tried this on a pool with medium calcification at the water line. Product foams when in contact with the Calcium Carbonate but does not remove it at all. I even tried applying the product and covering with plastic wrap for 1 hour, then for 12 hours, but absolutely no difference. Worse yet, I reached out for guidance from the manufacturer via their website and they completely ignored my question. So zero customer support. Finally, this was my SECOND bottle.. they use such cheap spray bottles that the first one had cracked and leaked out through the box during shipping and the trigger on the replacement bottle snapped off after about 10 squirts. Ultimately, the solution that worked for me was to use a paint mixer to (carefully, respirator, gloves & goggles) blend Muriatic acid with Guar Gum Powder. SLOWLY sprinkle in the Guar Gum Powder as you mix until the acid forms a thick gel, then use a thick nap paint roller to apply. Test it on a small area first. Let it sit for a few hours in the shade... it will skin over but is still working. Use a pressure washer (gently) to remove.

Fantastic product!
This product is absolutely amazing! We have tried many methods to remove the mineral deposits from out pool tile including straight muriatic acid and none compare to the Oceancare Calcium Releaser. We followed the recommendation in the video, you should watch that, to coat the effected areas with the product and cover with plastic wrap and that worked like magic. There will still be some scraping but it will be much easier than any other method we have employed. I would highly recommend this product to everyone and I know I will continue to use it for my needs as we have exceedingly hard water and the mineral deposits it produces are excessive. We also purchased the Glass and Tile Shield but have not used it yet so another review will be forthcoming.

Sprayer broke after first use
Even if we ignore the faulty sprayer (which is annoying on a bottle this expensive) I just didn't find this did a great job at removing the calcium build up. I could see it bubbling so it was doing something but when it came to actually removing it wasn't all that effective and still have all the stains.

Helped me revive a nasty looking pool
My pool man let the calcium get away from him on the tile and it looked horrible. I tried just scraping it off but that was really hard to do. Happily some research led me to this product. It really helped me get the pool looking like new again. The buildup was so bad it still took a lot of work but it was noticeably easier using this. One hint - spray it on a small patch and work on that. not trying to do a massive section all at once. It will dry out before you get that large section done, and it works best if the area is still damp from the spray. I would spray a large area on Day 1 to try to start breaking down the calcium, as suggested in the instructions, then work in smaller sections on Day 2.

It did not work on my pool tile.
It did absolutely nothing. Followed directions and it made zero difference. Tried to call the company with no luck.

This really worked for my problem
bought a house with a concrete pool 15 years ago and inherited a calcium deposit problem on the dark blue tiles behind a water fall. Wrestled with it ever since. Used a myriad of products "guaranteed" to solve the problem with zero results. Used a chisel and dental picks to pry off the deposits. Lots of hours, but never really solved. Reluctantly bought this product and while it took several applications and a bit of scrubbing with the 3M pad, it is finally solved. If deposit is really thick, be sure to scrape off first as per their video. If thin, just apply this, scrub a bit and it will happen. Very happy after 15 years!
