Sora’s head can turn, arms rotate slightly and legs can bend a little. The joints in one of arms are pretty loose due to the weight of the keyblade. The dusk’s arms bend slightly and can rotate slightly. The Soldier only can turn it’s head slightly.

Points of movement: •Shoulder joint can move arm forward and back, easier to move forward than backward due to jacket. •Wrist joint can rotate fully around 360* •Head can rotate fully around 360* •Torso can twist slightly •Upper leg (connected to hip) can move forward and back with ease. •Knee can bend slightly back. •Pelvis/Hip joints allow for him to bend forward and backwards. •Ankle joint can rotate fully around 360* •Ankle joint can also move forward and back

Q: Can they stand on their own?

I haven't taken them out of the package, however I've owned enough action figures to know that yes they will stand. You might have to fidget with their center of balance, but they should stand.
