It is a perfect fit into the Microsoft Surface Pro 7. Functions perfectly and flawlessly. Very well built, very sturdy. This is perfectly designed for this laptop. Lightweight, easy to store in your laptop case, bag etc.

The lack of ports on the Surface is the only downside to the device which this helps with tremendously. I am not sure why Microsoft put mini-display instead of USB-C on Surface devices.

It is plush on the surface screen and has lot of ports.

This is a life saver for me. I can leave my huge & heavy docking station at my home office and just carry this small adapter to my office. I do think Thule one shipped to me was used as the packaging was open and the case of the item was scratched up but it works fine and wasn’t expensive.

I had issues with my LG Smart TV dropping WIFI connection when watching Netflix or Amazon movies etc. I purchased the port for my Surface Pro 7. I connected a HDMI cable to port and TV. Now I can stream Netflix,Amazon,YouTube etc. It's not a perfect set-up but it works for me !

Just what I needed to optimize use of my surface pro. I use it to expand the view to my gaming monitor, to transfer files from my phone, wireless mouse which takes up one USB, and the other for my connecting my printers or a USB stick for additional documents.

We purchased this to connect my husband's surface pro to our ethernet. It works great for what we needed. It sticks out quite a bit so I would be careful not to break this attachment on the laptop. It does what we need so we are satisfied.
