Great value and very beneficial

If I could take only one supplement for the rest of my life, this would be it. I have had asthma for twenty years that is often aggravated during seasonal transitions and exercise, and in my case cordyceps have nearly eliminated all symptoms. There has been a noticeable improvement in my lung capacity, clarity, and efficiency. My endurance during sports and other physically exhaustive activities has improved dramatically, and it is far less likely that I will experience asthmatic arrest while running (which before would almost always trigger it). Prior to taking cordyceps I had hardly experienced the elation of deep, fulfilling breaths during sports. For most of my life, physical exercise has been associated with asphyxiation and pain, so I often avoided these kinds of activities. This has all changed now. FINALLY! I've been to doctors countless times and the best they could do was prescribe me immune-system-weakening anti-inflammatory corticosteroids that provided temporary relief from symptoms at best. Now I take 1/2 tsp every morning, and another dose in the evening if I feel any heaviness in my chest (NO MORE INHALERS!). This is a great product, costs me hardly anything, lasts a LONG time, and provides incredible benefits. If you are new to cordyceps, Bulksupplements currently offers the most affordable high-quality product I could find on the market and is well worth a try, especially if you suffer from a similar condition as I do.

I'm disappointed that this has dextrin as an additive. WHY does this have dextrin added to it? It's one of the big no-no ingredients for someone with methylation issues. I wish I would have known this before purchasing. The listing for this product conveniently has only one photo - and it's of the front of the bag, with NO indication of other ingredients.Generally I really like bulk supplements, and have for years, but when I see them start to make financial shortcuts like this it makes me not trust them. They made a similar shortcut with another product of theirs that used to be a favorite of mine.*sigh*Do better, Bulk Supplements!!!I can only speak highly of you if you are maintaining and protecting the integrity of your products.

BUYER BEWARE!!!Bulk Supplements has been asked repeatedly to provide verifiable lab results. Their response is a canned readout pasted onto their letterhead. No dates of testing. No lot numbers. No batch numbers. When challenged, they claim to test for product content (ie the product contains amounts of nutrients claimed in the label as well as safe cutoff levels of heavy metals and other contaminants) in their own lab as well as relying on “3rd party testing” but refuse to reveal the 3rd party doing this testing or any standard industry accepted readouts (see May 22, 2018 communication below). When asked to verify the levels of Beta-D Glucan in this product (which is the only reason to take Cordyceps anyway) the company delayed responding for days only finally to say they don’t test for that.WASTE OF MONEY & POSSIBLY DANGEROUS to use a supplement where even the retailer has no reliable verification of contents.This smacks of “dry labbing” (see the Consumer Labs page regarding this trend). As the old saying goes in the medical profession “In God we trust; all others must document. If it’s not documented, it didn’t happen. Bulk Supplements appears to garner ratings exponentially higher than competitors but this is because they “buy” the ratings by giving away free samples in return for providing a quick rating. Psychologically it’s an ingenious marketing ploy but ploys do not equal quality. In all fairness my rating is only about the Cordyceps product they sell. I’ll avoid it and so should you. Find a reputable dealer such as Real Mushrooms or Om. If you know your quality Cordyceps you’ll know Bulk Supplements version is a mixture of the whole plant with a lot of cheap ground up rice - at BEST - or includes potentially some dangerous contaminants - at WORST. The former endangers your wallet. The latter endangers your health.
