Ryobi products are great, this is no different!
Ryobi products never disappoint, and this one’s no different. Great functionality and solid quality as always.

Well worth the money
I really like Ryobi products and bought this because I was moving house and there was a fair bit of diy that needed doing. I ummed and ahhhed about which one to get because the first job was building a feather board fence and a lot of the reviews said this wouldn’t cut it… but also, the rest of the work required a gun that could cope with the finishing. I need not have worried. This did the fence in no time and it’s solid. The item is intuitive to use and I was really pleased that I spent a bit more and didn’t buy a cheaper brand.

Excellent as expected
Great nailer. Used once to repair a bit of fence, easy to use, no jams and accurate. Highly recommended as expected from Ryobi.

I would recommend this tool
I've used this tool several times and it work great, I was surprised by the level of power this nailer has and it easy beds the nail below the surface.

The tool you didn't know you needed.
I've been really impressed with this gun. It's one of those tools you didn't know you needed until you've bought it.I've used it on a range of things, skirting board, architrave, panelling, to name a few.If i have to knock anything, it does leave a lovely punch hole where it's driven the nail in, but nothing a quick fill can't sort.Extra nails are readily available from most DIY places.

A job that took 3 hours should have take 15mins
This was the 1st time using it I was using 16g 50mm nails for 2 new architraves.Followed the manual’s instructions pressed the trigger nothing happend havingTried this a few times same result tried a few more times i got a noise and then it stopped.Reinstalled the nails it worked on the third time i now had another 33 nails to do the same thing.it continually did this thoughout the project.Looked at the web there seems to be problem where orher buyers have got the same problem.Tried calling customer services spent hours on the phone not once did they answer my call waste of time.i looked in my shed and counted 27 ryobi tools i have always been pleased with my purchases i believe now to change the brand. Just purchased a b&d FatMax case 2batteries charger etc £270 i needed 16g most of them are 18g as i spent £80 on nails thats why I went for Black & Decker.00

A step back
I have had the previous version of this gun for 2.5 years before it packed up. Before this I had a DeWalt, and the Ryobi was certainly better.Unfortunately this newer version is a step back as far as I'm concerned.Doesn't have bump fire any longer so it's much slower. If you release the trigger a split second before the nail is fully fired it jams. Then have to push the nose down and fire the trigger to release the jam, then again to reload, then again to actually fire the nail.I quickly realised after 1 day and many jams we weren't going to get on.I use nails guns almost every day so if anyone was interested these are the scores I'd give the ones I've used.DeWalt -5. Too noisy and slow. Bulky. Love DeWalt tools but this is the worst I've owned.Ryobi -old version 8. New version 6. Bit plasticy/noisy but surprisingly robust.Milwaukee 9. Tempted to give it a 10 because it's amazing but I've only used it 3 months so yet to see longevity. Way ahead of the rest in performance tho. Perfect nail gun. Quiet/fast/bump mode is like a machine gun. Not cheap.
