This knife set is well balanced in the hand, without being heavy. Very sharp and a good range, they are the perfect home cook's set. Not professional chef standard, perhaps, but will last a lifetime for home use, if looked after. The lazy-Susan style stand is useful, easy to see through so you grab the right knife for the job and easy to keep clean too.

What can I say? Really well made sabatier knives, super sharp and precise. Comes with a great swivel knife block with perspex sides. Highly recommended for kitchen use.

The plastic handles are beyond cheap. After a month of use they have started to crack. Described as dishwasher safe, but the plastic has badly faded. They have a 20 year guarantee but there's no way they will last that long. Very disappointed with the purchase from a normally quality brand. Will be returning them for a refund.

As expected the knives are great - the knife block not so much. It's quite annoying to use and it scratches very easily. Five stars for the knives and zero stars for the block!
