V6S is wider and nicer than the previous V6 Locus. This model is better feeling than the V8 which is also a 5/5 yoyo. Magicyoyo is actually killing it these days. The finish and manufacturing is top notch and it's dead smooth. I love the new width of the V6S and it feels firmly in the realm of a mid size yoyo with a great amount of stability and spin power. I dont think its nearly as good for spingerspins as the v11 or v12 models, those do the DNA much better. Finger spins take a little more effort on this model, but still doable. It still gets a 5/5 simply because mechanically this yoyo is perfect in every way, and there's something extra addicting about the response and binds on this model. This yoyo just feels good. It has a weight distribution that's almost like a One Drop Eclipse or something close to that, maybe a bit more evenly distributed. It most at a medium pace and can be pushed pretty hard. It's just overall super fun, the plastic in the cup makes it feel a bit hybrid like in the air and effects the float.. yada.. just buy it. Its sick.

Great starter yoyo

I got this for my son to start out doing tricks with a yo-yo and this yo-yo is easy for starters and experienced yo-yos and very fun. If your child's interested in getting into yo-yo whether it's for tricks or not, I highly suggest this because it's very well made.

My 10 year old expressed the desire to learn how to play with a yo-yo and start learning different tricks. This yo-yo appears to be of higher quality than the pricing point suggests. The craftsmanship and milling of the yo-yo are not perfect but they are well above others I have found and also of those I actually own in the same price range. What sets this apart from others is the bearings and the quality of the strings. I had no issues getting it strung up and wound, and then put into action. It spins fast and balanced, and my child caught on very quickly. This yo-yo will continue to serve as a great beginner and even mid-intermediate skill level product. I’d purchase again!

Came with everything I could have wanted. The extra bearings were a nice touch. The longer bar & wider bearings for the unresponsive conversion made this pack for me

This was a Christmas present for my 9 year old grandson. He likes it a lot.

My kids love these yoyos.

This has more of a Y or V shape than the narrower slot I'm used to with other YoYo's. I think the axle is too wide. When I throw it, the yoyo tended to drift off the vertical axis. Maybe this is operator error, but despite it's very solid and nice feel, I think there's something about this that makes it unstable. Also, it hurts my hand on the return unless I catch it perfectly.
