Silverline Heavy Duty Punch Pliers 2-4.5mm (200111)

Punches clean holes in leather belts comfortably. I have only used one punch size so far. Very sturdy, feels like it will last well. Take your time learning how it works although it is straightforward. Punch wheel revolves in one direction then select punch size (embossed on orange plastic disc) and lock accurately in place using the retaining arm to centre the punch over the anvil. It is worth doing this carefully to get a nice clean hole. A bargain price for a nice DIY tool.

I needed to make a couple of holes in a leather luggage strap, and decided to buy a proper leather punch rather than just make the hole with a skewer or something...As I'm not likely to use this tool regularly, I didn't want to spend the earth, and this one stood out because the numerous good reviews, and the low price!Let me say, it has by far exceeded my expectations! For the money I paid for it, I was expecting something that might just about be up to the job - instead I got a brilliant, heavy and well made tool with a lifetime guarantee!It also punched the couple of holes I needed perfectly! - lovely neat round holes, rather than a ragged hole poked through with a skewer!5 stars without a doubt!

great product at good price does the job

Cheap and cheerful but gets the job done with minimal effort. These made a couple clean holes in a relatively thick belt and were certainly cheaper than buying a new belt. I'm not sure how well they would perform if they were used all day every day but for my purposes (making a couple additional holes in a belt) it was perfect.

Sadly I'm one of those Men who's weight is seldom stable, I'm u and down like a Fiddlers Elbow so I often find I need to add new holes in my Leather Belts. I needed a new punch as the one I had for years eventually blunted and made cutting a new hole difficult. These looked sturdy and I knew the maker so opted for these. They are O.K, not as sharp as they should be, they do cut a hole but not as cleanly as they should do, they kind of cut 9/10th's of the hole, it is usable but not a perfect circle. I use them also to cut another hole in my Training shoes above the last lace hole as I don't tie my laces, I prefer the sleak look of no Bow so I get the laces where I want them and put them back through the new hole and cut the adlet off so they don't hurt, these are great for this. Not perfect and need to be sharper but useable.
