Q: How long will it keep the food hot/warm?

If the zipper doesn’t break the first time you use it, it could keep the food warm for hours probably. It’s just pretty poorly made.

Q: Will this stand on it's own when empty?

Yes, the bag will stand open on it's own, but you will have to give it a little time to get the creases out from being packaged up. Once they are gone, it will stay open.

Q: Where can I buy the hard bottom piece by itself?

I don’t know who would sell those. Perhaps cut a piece of cardboard to fit.

Q: Can you put ice in it?

Yes but would suggest you keep ice in a bag too. Seems to be well lined but not sure how it may leak
