Q: Will these cups hold a double espresso? Would there then be enough room to make a double espresso macchiato if i so wished?

Alrighty - 8 cl - I measured the contents and this is accurate - then just for you I made an Espresso using my Krups machine the one with three little lghts on it - I am an espresso loving Godmother and there was room in it for two espressos - ok but you said Espresso Macchiato - you add milk for Macchiato - likea latte - then it is no longer an espresso - this dear little cup holds easy a double espresso - why you want Macchiato adding milk is for Children - get bigger cups for Macchiato - Ravenhead make them Amazon will sell them - So to be sure I give correct info I check - your Espresso Macchiato wants only little milk - well you might get about a teaspoon of milk in after putting two espressos but I cannot recommend trying - I take my coffee very seriously and I guess you do too
