Chess set was great but missing the advertised certificate of authenticity which we will now have to chase up ourselves

This Chess set is definitely overpriced. It is very cheaply made. The first set i ordered came with the corner of the board broke. When i phoned the suppliers, filmandtvstuff, they suggested i glue it, for £300.00, i don't think so!! The next set they sent, the felt on bottoms of chess pieces were coming off. So i wanted to return this set too, after much arguing with filmandtvstuff, they reluctantly paid for the return. I would never ever use this seller again as they are not nice people to deal with.

I'm at work and its 2 weeks before Christmas. My wifes just texted me to say that a Harry Potter chess set has arrived, surprise ruined. Please be aware if you're buying this as a gift get it ordered to a freinds house because it comes it doesnt come discretely packaged at all. Cant comment on quality yet, but only 3 stars right now for the lack of thought to packaging

Love it. It's a Christmas Present for my husband, but had to show him as I confess it is bigger than I thought. We've now had to buy a table!

Chess it is not a replica at all from the movie. I have seen the original black pieces at Harry Potter Studio in London and they do not have a cross in their shields, only white pieces do (you can see this in the movie as well), they have two diagonal lines instead. I can understand these details can be missed with the cheap replica but not with this one specially with this cost and because it is sold as "exactly as you see in the movie". In my opinion, different shields also make the chess more original.
