Very solid keyboard, feels elegant and the switches are excellent. One small caveat though..
Let's get this out of the way: these switches blow any of Cherry's linear options out of the water. Trying these optical switches compared to MX Reds is hilarious. They're just so smooth and light, so if that's what you want with a linear, then look no further. Do keep in mind however these actuate VERY easily, and I feel that adjustable actuation would bring this keyboard into unstoppable territory. Me personally, I got used to it pretty quickly, but I could definitely see this really annoying some people. The overall keyboard chassis itself is very similar to the old K70 that I have laying around; as in, it's good. I like that they still went with the original style of those keyboards, but slimmed it down a bit. It really does feel like a premium product. Not a huge RGB fan, but it looks very consistent and lively here IMO. Major thumbs up for keycap compatibility, though I don't see myself upgrading them anytime soon. Perfectly happy with the ones it came with! One last thing: I was really surprised with how this board sounds out of the box. The stabilizers are dead quiet, and the keys themselves honestly sound very good.

Beautiful, hair-trigger keys, troublesome spacebar
I bought this keyboard mainly for the layout, backlight, and the idea that the optical keys might last longer than clicky mechanical keys. I bought it mainly for typing, but also occasional gaming.First off, I love the way it looks. The backlight is nicely done, and the default color settings have nice options to choose from. It defaults to a reasonable brightness, which was an annoyance of my previous keyboard which would revert to full brightness after every reboot. I didn't see much point in all the animated color patterns, but they look nice if that's your thing. I was able to change it to a constant color using Fn+0 and cycle through the colors to find one I like, and didn't need to use their software, which is good because I run Linux.Unfortunately it's a bit of a learning curve to get used to typing on this. The keys are *extremely* sensitive, especially if you're used to the resistance of a mechanical keyboard. The key triggers almost the exact moment you touch it; with a normal mechanical keyboard, the key resists the weight of your finger until you force it down. I've discovered that my use of shift keys with my pinky finger is a bit sloppy, because I keep activating shift before I mean to. With this keyboard, you need to keep your fingers fully lifted until you intend to hit the key. While I think I'll eventually get used to the light keys, I took off a star for the spacebar. If you swipe your thumb across the spacer (i.e. the space bar pops up without your thumb still on it) the spacebar bounces enough to trigger a second key press. This feels more like a design flaw than something users just need to get used to.Anyway, for years they've been advertising mechanical keyboards (cherry switches) as better-for-gaming when they really weren't. They were excellent for typing though, thanks to the haptic feedback. This is is quite the opposite - it's a mechanical keyboard that really *is* better for *gaming* (because your key presses register faster and you can rapid-fire easier) but not so great for general typing.

Teclado robusto
