Q: how well is the product built, will it last months or just weeks ?

Good quality Soft fabric inner which protects the phone and provides extra grip.

Q: We have different size phones. Does it automatically adjust or its a hassle?

Ridiculously easy. Either pull the arms apart or use the little button on the back to make it bigger. Push the sides in to make it smaller and grip the phone. I'm using an iPhone 7 and it holds it brilliantly but it's big and strong enough for the newer large format phones. And nice and solid when clamped to a static part of the air vent system which is what I have (don't clamp it to the vains of the air vents as they are designed to move and so does the phone cradle - school boy error!)
