Expensive but so SO worth it!
I don't review items often but I felt like I had to for this one. We've got a 5 year old husky that we've used a slicker brush from pets at home for the entire time, and every grooming session was a nightmare. She absolutely hated it so the whole thing became an ordeal. We recently welcomed a husky x malamute pup into our family and when training him to get used to grooming sessions, I looked at that cheap brush and thought I need something better than this when they're both blowing their coat at the same time. Honestly the thought of spending so much money on a brush seemed insane but I'd heard nothing but good things so I bit the bullet.I cannot even begin to describe what a difference it's made! The brush is well made and while I thought the teeth seemed like they'd bend easily, they've been doing really well so far! My oldest dog I don't even recognise. It's like she almost enjoys grooming sessions now. The brush doesn't get caught and the angled teeth do an amazing job of getting the job done while not being uncomfortable for my pooches. It's obviously a little big for our puppy at the moment but even he doesn't seem to mind it!Definitely one of the best purchases I've made in a long time and I'm so glad I took the plunge. Bonus picture of the pooches in question

Excellent slicker. Expensive but a real investment.
Whilst I would not usually even think of leaving a review for a dog brush, I felt I needed to reassure others like me who were apprehensive at spending so much money on a slicker brush. I have two Husky/GSD crosses, with thick dense undercoats. Brushing has always been a challene so I decided to go for it...and Oh Boy! This slicker is amzingly good, streets ahead of all the others I have tried in the past. I removed so much undercoat today from the dogs, and for a change they tolerated all the brushing until I had finished. In fact they really seemed to enjoy this brush. It cuts theough their coats with ease, seems gentle on the dogs skin. I just wish I had used this brish earlier. Top marks from me.

Comfor
This slicker brush is the best I have used. It has longer wires and the ends bend in more. The advantage being it is softer for the dog and more ergonical for the groomer. My soldier is very thick coated and this slicker used in short strokes cleared the dense coat and even better he was very comfortable with it. No more lookin at ,me to say it was uncomfortable or scratchy to his skin. I wished I had this when I was at the grooming salon doing over 5 dogs a day as my arms and the dogs comfort would have been so much better. I have not tried this on shorter coated yet. Highly recommended.

Excellent
The best brush that I’ve bought for my dogs in the 13 years of having Golden Doodles and a Standard Poodle. There’s a technique for using it, short strokes rather than dragging through the length of the coat, but makes brushing a breeze!

Believe the hype
I'm sure there might be cheaper options but as our Labradoodle puppy hated being groomed we decided to failsafe and bought this based on the reviews online here and elsewhere.Result? She now loves being groomed, absolutely loves it; she's calm and happy and even comes over to sit next to me whenever I pick it up.It works brilliantly too, helping keep her looking smart and saving on hoovering up shed hair. Not cheap, but definitely worth it.

Expensive
I bought 2 of these as I had been informed by professional groomers that are the best money could buy, slightly disappointed that on one of them a couple of the pins bent out of shape and became loose, it had only been used twice too

The Best Slicker Brush
I have a Standard Poodle who is 11 months old. As you know, their hair starts changing at about this age as their new “adult” hair takes over from their puppy coat. This can creat a nightmare with matting if not kept under control. I decided to invest in this brush and it’s the best thing I have bought for my poodle. I have used other slicker brushes before this one but have found them ineffective. This brush has bristles that are a good length and work through the hair.A bit on the expensive side, but have found that it has been a life saver so absolutely worth it.A definite for any Poodle, Doodle, Oodle owners. 100% recommended.
