Pro Matchplay 2 review
Nice fresh looking dartboard. Compares well to other more expensive boards available on the market. Really impressed. Clear numbers around the outside are a welcome improvement on the pro matchplay 1 board. Very good value for money. Highly recommended

A classic reborn
Have wanted a quadro board for a while so was very happy to learn that harrows had decided to re release this, upon opening the box initial inspection of the board showed me it was a good quality board, though nowhere near as good quality as the winmau blade 6 or even the blade 5… minor flaws that overall make no difference to how the board plays…. Other downside to this board is that harrows don’t have there own version of the winmau rotolock system, so securing the board to the wall isn’t as easy as with a winmau board, again not a huge issue but something that will stop me buying harrows boards in future… once board was hung I was pleased with how it looked, and after 4 darts had hit my first quad 20, this is the dartboards u.s.p and best feature, the quad section being so narrow and low on the scoring segment makes it a more challenging segment to hit with a higher chance of missing too wide one way or the other so the risk reward factor of the new segment is quite high… after a couple of hours play the board was holding up well and I managed to hit my first 240, which unfortunately didn’t feel as good as when I hit a 180 for the first time on a standard board…. Overall this is a great novelty board, and I think aiming at the smaller quad section will help to improve my overall dart game, quality may not be the best, but still worth the money if you enjoy playing darts

Just Like the Local
When I was a child - in simpler days I have to confess - it was a family bit of fun playing darts. Of course as a child I was rubbish. And I still am.However I rediscovered darts when visiting one of the ships' I am involved in for a major oil company. The Chief Engineer had this same board in his office and I noticed that I and everyone else when visiting picked up the darts set and threw a few arrows. It was in effect a bit of an ice breaker and fun.So, I bought this and was going to put it up in my workshop at home until my better half pointed out that darts is a fun family thing to do. And given the desperately needed draw away from mobile phones and computer games I agreed and put it up in the kitchen diner.And....yup. Same effect. People simply cannot resist the temptation to throw a few darts. It really is an almost primeval need.Part of it is making sure the gear is decent of course and along with a few sets of half reasonable darts I figured that a proper board was needed. Which this is.Heavy, solidly built and is just like the one you find down you local boozer. Proper job. The bristle construction means a good 'thump' when the arrows hit home and a nice secure dart as well. No bouncing out unless you hit the steel numbers or frame bang on.Longevity is assured given the construction so I suspect my grandchildren will be standing tall before this wears out.Overall, this is the one to buy. Not bonkers expensive and a million miles better than cheapo rubbish. The only thing extra I need is talent and a beer belly.
