Product Description Sarah has always been different. So as the new girl at St. Benedict's Academy, she immediately falls in with the high school outsiders. But these girls won't settle for being powerless misfits. They have discovered "THE CRAFT," and they are going to use it. .co.uk Review If Buffy the Vampire Slayer represents the lighter side of high school as a macabre experience, here's a movie that asks the burning question, "What happens when angst-ridden teenagers develop supernatural powers?" More to the point, how do four outcast teenaged witches handle their ability to cast wicked spells on the taunting classmates who've nicknamed them "The Bitches of Eastwick"? The answer, of course, is "don't get mad, get even." That's about all there is to this terminally silly movie, which makes up for its ludicrous plot by letting its young female cast have a field day as they indulge their dark fantasies. Fairuza Balk is enjoyable as the most wicked of the witches, and is therefore the focus of the film's most dazzling special effects. But it's Neve Campbell from television's Party of Five who made this film a modest box-office hit, just before she became her generation's fright-movie favorite in Scream and its popular sequel. --Jeff Shannon

Hasn’t aged
Despite to obviously signs of aging the film itself still works for todays teens. Ideal for fans of mean girls or Heathers with the obvious supernatural twist, ideal for Halloween movie fest

Great 90's film
I don't often give a movie five stars but this deserves it. I was only a child in the 90's but i love watching films like this and clueless to remind me of childhood. Neve Campbell proves what a versatile actress she is as this character is completely different to Sydeny in Scream, it's nice to see the not popular girls in the lime light and it teaches us that's it's ok to be unique. The witchcraft is well done, it was a huge craze in the late 90's.It's dated now, you know it's the mid 90's by the style of clothes. The music is also excellent, defiantly of it's time.

Classic Cult Teen Horror
Ok, I've probably given this 4 stars for nostalgic purposes as I saw this a few times some years back and loved it and despite looking a bit dated, The Craft is still a fun, dark teen horror.A circle of witches take on a newcomer when pretty Robin Tunney arrives in school and immediately appears to have magical powers. Problem is, the power soon goes to the witches heads and they start creating havoc in and out of school.A message about how to treat others and not to let power go to your head lurks in there somewhere but overall The Craft is a quirky, darkly comical and offbeat teen horror that deserves it's cult status.Had a feeling they'd remake it eventually...

Craft a great film for All Hallows Eve
Great acting performances from actors who went on to bigger roles. Wanting power and how it can change someone is basically this story, great effects, teenagers, that don't fit in perhaps really wishing they did. Witchcraft with attitude this has edge and i will watch every several years i really rate this film

Region Free
This is a region free Blu-ray import. The back of the case is not English, however, the disc menu and spoken language by default plays in English. I had no problems. As for the film. I really enjoy it. Liked it when I saw it on TV, so got the DVD years ago and now have switched the DVD to Blu-ray.
