Q: what is the weight when beaters are in place?

The weight on my scale of the whisk is 834 grams. The beaters weigh 64 grams, the dough hooks 58 grams and the balloon 32 grams. Hope that helps. It makes lovely whipped cream to go with the strawberries, but perhaps that depends more on the cream!

Q: How long do the instructions say you can run the motor for? Looking for one that can run for more than 5 minutes. Thanks!

You can only run it for 2 mins on 'tubo' but seems to be fine on the normal settings. Very powerful, my only complaint with it is I wish the power lead was longer. Really happy with it as I normally buy Kenwood but the last 2 that I bought were not up to the job. This machine looks good and I am very pleased with it so far :)

Q: I've had this mixer for less than 20 months - the beaters have started rusting and now one of the prongs has broken. Can they be replaced?

I've had mine for 4 years and the beaters have started rusting as well. I emailed the manufacturers but they responded by saying they don't stock spare parts for these hand mixers and could not help me source any. Basically they seem to think you should chuck it away! Thank goodness the law is changing but too late for us. My previous hand mixer was a Moulinex and that lasted over 30 years without any rust. Not impressed.

Q: Does this mixer stand on its own with mix still on the beaters.
