Solid Copper 6x6 Pyramid Cap - Designed to Fit Over A 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" Post Top

The post cap came quickly and looks very nice and is sturdier than I expected it would be. The only thing that would improve the product would be to have nail/screw holes on the flanges for installation. I would recommend this for years of service.

My old post caps were damaged by hail, these fit perfect over the damaged copper caps (not the same brand) may have been a bit large on my 6x6 posts without the old caps (maybe due to the posts shrinking.) Look great, heavy, very pleased.

I ordered 11 caps and they arrived promptly. Each piece was individually wrapped for protection. They fit perfectly over my 6x6 posts. These are a thick enough gauge of solid copper that will last a long time and have no deflection of the material. Also, the cheapest price I found for this item

Nice looking still after year and a half. Harder to install than I thought. Needed to use liquid nails and reinstall a few times, using a lot more each time, clamping in place, wiping off excess. My wood post tops didn’t fill in the empty void of the pyramid past the four sides, so if your post tops are in a true pyramid (not a pyramid with a flat plateau at the top), you won’t have this problem. If you have the plateau topped pyramid cut post, you will have to cut it down to make these touch on the sides. They won’t be deep enough otherwise.

The caps are about as thick as a copper penny -- very adequate for the installation. I drilled small holes in the opposite sides of the skirt to attach to a standard 6x6 fence post. The fit is fine & the cap looks great!

Just as advertised! We bought 9 6x6 and 4 4x4 solid copper post caps. The size is right (5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 respectively). These are shiny copper at the moment but they will darken with age and eventually turn green. If you want them to stay bright you will have to spray them with a clear coat. I expect these to last longer than the posts they adorn. But if I were ever to need more, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these again.
