Q: Can a women shave legs with this?

Yes, make sure you use at a 45 degree angle. They are made for shaving the direction your hair grows, so it may take some practice to get a clean shave. I find it more smooth with less tearing than a disposable.

Q: What’s the material of the razor? Will it rust or get ugly?

According to the description its made of "brass and black matte chrome plate" that helps "prevents against rust in wet enviroment." It does have some heft to it so I'd say its brass, and I frequently put mine away with a bit of water still on it and no rust. I've been using it since December. Just make sure you open the flaps so the razor blade can dry good they will rust. Also don't use the free blades with this. Where as the razor itself is amazing the blades are garbage. Get some Astra Superior Platinum blades and you'll have an amazing shave.

Q: Is the protective case real leather? I’d prefer if it were not.

Yes it is.... But IMO , that is not important as the shave I get from the razor. It's the best razor I have ever used. No more knocking the razor on the side of the sink to knock out the stubble that jams up the blade. A quick turn of the knob and a rinse under the water is all it takes.
