Didn’t come premade so extends the potency of the product. Ended up getting a prescription from my dermatologist for better results.

I ordered this night serum before and it was great, then I re-ordered once I noticed it was on sale, but I was sent a different, much cheaper Kiel’s micro dosing serum. It did not have the retinal powder to be mixed but rather was ready-to-use cream (which is sold at $15 only usually). I am not sure it was intentional, but it was certainly deceiving and fishy that they did that.

Maybe this is a good product. Maybe it’s great. Maybe it sucks. But OMFG. This stuff is put into the absolute stupidest container they could find. The serum comes in a hard, plastic container that does not have a pump or applicator. You can’t squeeze it or even open the actual container so to follow the instructions and apply a “pea size amount”, you have to turn the bottle over, and wait. And wait. And wait. And that’s just for two drops to come out. There is no accelerating the process. I loves Kiehl’s product but seriously, whomever designed this container was probably about to turn in their 30 minutes notice and at the same time was in competition with the person who decided to put ketchup into glass bottles. At least on the ketchup bottles, there was a number you could tap on the bottle to get the ketchup out bit for the serum, you just wait for it to zootopia sloth drip out. Anyone who is thinking about buying, make sure you add an extra 5 minutes to your nighttime routine.

I like how this product is the most concentrated retinol the Kiehls brand has ever made! However, it did not feel harsh on my skin and I had no sensitivity to it at all. It applies on nicely with a few drops, and sets on the skin overnight. Great for wrinkle reduction and visibly firming skin for a more youthful look!
