The drying time depends upon a couple things: 1) How "wet" the area was after it was sprayed and cleaned; 2) The humidity in the room will potentially delay the drying time. Typically, it should be dry to the touch within 24 hours.

Q: Could this brush and shampoo be good for pet odors?

The Rug Renovator brush will aid in the cleaning of the pet stain/odor. The shampoo should also assist with the stain and odor; however, depending upon the length of the stain/odor in the carpet/rug, would be a determining factor. You may need to clean the area several times to remove the stain/odor.

Q: Can this be used on shag or higher pile carpet?

Yes you can use on higher pile carpet. Recommend using the light blue bristle which is less stiff.

Q: Rug brush wand doesn’t tighten keeps spinning and collapsing

Same thing happened with mine. Brush is really good, but it's useless
