My son has been obsessed with space and rockets for awhile now. He's a creative lego builder and has been using what random parts he could find to build rockets, satellites, and rovers. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a set, especially when my son would want to take it apart and be creative. I knew this set would be a home run when I saw the Saturn V-esque looking rocket on the box.And boy was it ever. My son is so please with all the black, white, and gray pieces (like REAL rockets. He enjoys verisimilitude in his lego building). He likes all the options and it's been great to see him be creative and build more realistic looking rockets with stages and payloads.We haven't even gone through all the bags!Word of warning, only two sets have instructions, but honestly, who cares? There are instructions for everything on the box and anything else should just be creative fun. Who needs instructions?Absolutely amazing. Who needs summer plans when you can just buy a huge box of lego?

excellent value for so many basic parts as with most lego classic brick sets - enough parts for the whole family to build together - going to buy a few more due to so many general purpose useful parts
