Q: Can this pigment be mixed in a clear coat for airbrush paints

Hello, yes. This intense chameleon pigment powder can be mixed into many clear mediums. Our pigments are highly pigmented and just a small quantity will be enough for most of your projects.

Q: Can this be used to hydro-dip?

I've not tried it for that purpose that said I don't think I would. These are really nice chameleon colors with great results dry brushing molds exspecially dragon wings etc... They are not cheap and are very small jars of mica powder but go along way when used as intended. I would say if you have used mica powders in hydro dipping and they worked these would as well. Maybe do a small test piece to see. If you where to use these as a surface effect on to other colors to get the ghost shimmer it might be worth a try. I would dust it on when you're not quite dry as to get good adhesion over a white area or black area Thats the cool thing about all this resin ,mica powder, paint and so much colorant it leaves alot to experiment with. Q: What are the ingredients?

The chameleon mica powder is made up of natural and man made mica which is ground up very fine. Man made mica powder is more brilliant in color where natural mica depends on the mineral content of the mica for color. Natural mica tends to be more muted in color than the man made mica. They are both non toxic but you still don't want to breath the dust so a good N95 dust mask or better is recomended.
