Small but Useful Set

Review: 72Pcs M5 M6 M8 Hammer Head Bolt T Screw and M5 M6 M8 Hexagon Flange Nuts Set Carbon Steel Nickel Plated for 20 30 Series European Standard T-Slot Aluminum ProfileI don't use T Screws and Hexagon Flange Nuts very often. Even when I might need some, like in making a jig, I would most likely use the US standard size. That is the reason I wanted just a small set. There are only two or three pieces of several different sizes, perfect for my needs. The case they came in is pretty good. It doesn't have to carry much weight and it does a good job not flexing and keeping everything in its place. The plastic dividers are a bit thin and come out of their slots fairly easily. Just opening the box and moving it around, two of them slipped out of their place. The latch is not going to make it very long. It's cheap and will fall after a little use or fall off even sooner if handled more roughly. The T Bolts and Flange Nuts are both made of carbon steel, but the Flange Nuts also have a Nickle plating to help avoid rust and corrosion resistance. The screw thread depth is not very deep nor are the threads on the nuts. They do screw together easily without any sticking or tightness as the nut travels up the head of the screw. The box says the nuts and screws are made from 304 steel. Two common steel grades in industry are 304 and 316 Steel. The 304 Steel is less corrosive resistant and less expensive than 316. If the screws and nuts are used in an area that is more conducive to corrosion, then 304 Steel should not be used. So, this set of 304 Steel Nuts and Screws should be used indoors or possibly in dryer climates and away from salt water. For my purposes these work just great, and they are less expensive than the same item made with 316 Steel. They are a great buy for the purpose they are meant for.
