Q: Will this fit in an ftx outlaw? i'm looking to upgrade from brushed.

Hi I had the same system in my outlaw and carnage fits spot on

Q: . How do i connect the motor? All 3 wires are black with no other markings

The middle wire goes to middle and both outside black ones go to outside. If reversing when outside blacks are in switch them round

Q: Does this work with 2s and 3s lipo?

That's it in my tt02 with a 5000mha 2s

Q: Does this do forward and reverse

Yes mate forward and reverse. You'll need your own pinion gear, I'd say 3s at a lower rate is must, 2s higher rate is probably best for it. Good for the price though
