It's a nice dac, good looking, solid build and with good sound quality.

I have Logitech Z623 connected to my TV. Z623 is THX certified and tuned for movies. Dialogue was good. Bass was boomy. Lacked treble. I purchased this unit and connected TV opt to this and the output to Z623. This device provides control for bass and treble which is a big plus. Now I get a balanced sound for movies and music. It also enhances the audio signal from the TV. Overall a good purchase

This entry level DAC in my opinion is a great value for money. I have been using this for a few days now, and here are my few personal takes.The Dac itself is small and petite and won't take much space on your desk. It can drive my headphones quite easily and the better your headphones the better will be the output. The knobs do what they are supposed to. Please keep it mind that it takes a few seconds for the Dac to turn on, don't turn on the volume up, it will blow your ears out.Not for IEMs, only if you have one of those expensive ones.Great for high quality Headphone, don't expect it to output awesome sounds from your cheap Sony and Panasonic headphones.Great product for the price.

1) Three digital input and one analog output is a good option if you have an amplifier which has only one rca input (don't have to plug out and plug in everytime you want to change an input)2) Compact (can put it in pocket)3) 24bit 96000hz is good enough for most people but not enough for audiophiles (most people can't find the difference above 24bit 19200hz4) SNR is better than my 10 year old pc but not that much5) detects earphone and switches to and forth very goodCONS1) Single volume control for headphone and RCA out hurts ear2) bass and treble control in both DAC and amp can make it hard to set desired tone3) I didn't get the line pattern on the side Panel it's just plain4) not that much different from a DAC inside pc from 10 years ago except a little more SNR5) could have added an RCA cable6) Class 2 DACs are available for a little bit more money7) USB used for power must have been able to used for data too (power and data in a single cable) but it is subjective (more people don't want to switch on pc when they want to use optical from tv so this is not much of a downer8) most important thing mic won't work in headphone so, don't buy for gaming

Mind blowing

I was skeptical after I placed the order for this DAC, as it was very small in size and I was much worried about the performance.And finally the day came, it was delivered on time as promised and I was eager to test all the inputs (USB, COAX and Optical), everything is working fine and I am using this with the same brand Amplifier Aiyima A01.Oh Man.., I couldn't believe my ears, it was really awesome and it exceeded my expectations. I am really wondering which of these 2 items is good because 50% volume is more than enough for the DAC and at this 50% DAC Volume, 25% volume in the Power Amp is too loud - I am using this with my Desktop PC as a 2.1 Setup.I would have given a 5 Star rating for this one but for 2 things I have given 4 Stars.1. Bluetooth is not available, would be great if included;2. Only the USB Cable is provided, no power supply adapter is given; and3. Only the RCA and Headset output is available, would be great if an Aux Out or a Pre-Out for an Active Subwoofer was given.Overall performance is good, despite having few cons and I really recommend this to everyone.It is worth buying for its great performance.I hope this review would be helpful.Thanks for Reading.
