Q: Can you use these in the airport and on a plane

I don't see why not. Unless airport/airline rules say otherwise.

Q: How are these during a call? Cheap ones never have clear sound at the recipients, really need one for calls

I think that you answered your own question. They are Probably OK if you are just taking the occasional call but not great by any means. If taking/receiving calls is your main priority they're Probably not for you.

Q: Can thrse charge on a charging pad/mat or do they only charge with cable?

As far as I know its only through the cable,but it's worth a try. Great sound though.
