Q: Why does this look completely different than than the Trucatch 36d on their website? It's not even the same type of action.

The silver trap in the picture is definitely not our 36D trap. Amazon has changed the picture to a completely different brand of trap. The 36D trap is powder coated brown like our others and does have the same trap mechanism as our other traps too. We've been trying to get these photos changed for weeks now, but Amazon is refusing to use the correct photos. Unfortunately we will no longer be selling the 36D traps on Amazon until the photos are corrected. You can still buy them on our website, though.

Q: Does this catch Gophers?

It’s the right size so I’m guessing if you use the correct bait it would. I’ve just never had to worry about gophers. Good luck!

Q: Which size would be better for me?The medium one or the small ?

Depends on the animal's size you wanna catch.I think the small rat trap is better for mice, and the medium is better for rats and squirrels, chipmunks.

Q: Would medium size work for a small kitten?

I would not suggest this trap for large animals like cats. Even with a medium sized trap, there is a risk to the animal. Please try an actual mammal humane trap, not one designed for rodents.
