Q: Do I need to buy this if I already own the original for the new content?

Depends if you are buying it for the PS4 then you might want to buy this. The DLC for some of the new game content and other things (like first person view and the new dungeons) is around $15; but then you also have to buy all the other DLC too. The three characters' DLC are around $6 to $7 each. And then there is also the item DLCs too. Might be cheaper to buy this if you want everything.

Q: Is all content on game disc?

no. there will be a patch and download codes for the season pass and royal edition

Q: Is the DLC on the disk?

No. It is a code included with the disc, and you still have to download it separately.
