This was precisely what I was looking for for my 9-year-old son. The car functions great, it is not difficult to control, it's speed is perfect for beginners, and the batteries hold their charge well.

The media could not be loaded. Amazon Prime shipping is amazing. The car arrived within one day of completing my purchase.The package included the car, tons of spare parts, a front bumper and rear wing also the radio. I was also shocked that the car included a 2s battery and charger. All this for 149. The only thing not included were 3 AA batteries required for the radio. Otherwise this car comes with everything you need to get started.After installing the rear wing and charging the batteries this car is ready to go. It's easy to drive and very fun. I estimate the car goes about 20 25 mph out the box pretty fun speed for a beginner in this hobby. I handed the car over to my daughter and she was hooked.I would highly suggest installing the included front bumper to add some protection to the front of the car.The build quality of the car is excellent, the drive line is strong and made out of quality materials. I like that spares are included incase you crash you an easily replace an a arm or cvd. Any part that would typically break from normal use is included and the tools are also included.I would reccomend this to anyone from a beginner level though expert level hobbyist. If you just want some thing easy to take out and run in the dirt or in your driveway...or even indoors this is a great option.I've included a video clip of me running it in my basement. Really had a blast with it.

Drove it a bit it's a blast and it works great being that you can slow it down so younger kids can learn to drive it with adult supervision but definitely will need upgraded to metal parts the plastic knuckles and control arms do not seem like the strongest thing being it is pretty quick.

Been away from R/C cars for years. Battery tech has improved a lot. This car is as fast or faster than gas powered cars I used to run. Makes it much easier for the casual user who wants speed. Gas was such a hassle.This car is a good starting place. With the exception of the bumper, it is assembled. The extra bumper is optional and only four screws. Pretty much ready to go. IMO the bumper is key for beginners. Misjudged a gap and crunched the car. Hit concrete hard. Bumper gouged. Car fine. Good bumper.Customer support is excellent. Received email with helpful tips before the car arrived. The seller has also responded to questions in a timely manner.With the support, throttle scalability and big bumper, this is a great car for beginners.

car broke within first 5 minutes of operation. Center driveshaft sheared at the pinion gear. its made out of super cheap metal. reached out to seller and they responded imediatly by sending me a new driveshaft. took some time to replace it. went to go use it again, and the battery it came with wouldnt charge.... OK so i decided to use another battery from same scale car. Ran it for about 5 mins, and that driveshaft broke too! in the same spot! Save yourself the time and money and buy the WLtoys 144001 car. better quality and cheaper

On and off 40 years RC experience. From the smallest up to nitro 1/5. This little RTR buggy is awesome. Nothing to assemble and it's fast and fun. Imagine dreading shopping with your wife. You stay in the parking lot with a few batteries that charge via USB and you are good to go. I run the stock 2S battery. #s will get it faster. While an off road buggy, asphalt seems to be best for fast runs and no tipping over. This thing is just awesome for the price point. It's a no-lose purchase.

This is a really fast and responsive RC car but it’s not very durable. After about 15 minutes of use, one of the front wheels were damaged. By the end of the day, the whole wheel came off and the other one was also damaged. We used the beginner bumper that was included but a few scrapes against the curb and it was damaged. I’m sad to say that it didn’t make it though the end if the day.
