Has been working for a year cooling the motor speed controller of my electric vehicle
I drive a Chev S-10 pickup that I converted to all electric. The controller for the motor requires constant circulating water cooling. This is critical because if the controller gets too hot, it complains to the computer and the motor stops. This Northbear pump is used to move water from a storage tank (water bottle) through a small radiator then to the controller and back. It is very reliable and has worked without problem for the last year. Quality is very important to me and is required for reliable driving.

Still working after 2 years.
Used this pump last summer to transfer water from 55 gallon barrels to a 300 gallon tank at our cabin and it is still working great this year. Before this pump i bought a stainless steel pump similar to this one off of Amazon and it rusted solid over the winter. This pump takes about 15min. to drain a 55 gallon barrel so not the fastest but it does the job and was cheap.

It works.
The only thing I would change is that it would be 1000% nicer if it had a female barrel jack on it instead of bare wires. Otherwise this thing worked like a charm for my intended use: It empties the dehumidifier tank.

Garbage product, does not work as advertised.
Does not pump the head nor rate as advertised. Garbage product. Waste of money and time invested in my hydroponic system.

Submersible pump with on the level features
Nice 6-12 Vdc pump; works as expected at 6V versus 12V so I may setup two 6V gel cells in series and switch the pump between connections to have a two speed setup for a hot copper coil heat transfer setup (coil place in camp fire, pump cold water and recirculates into same 5 gallon bucket until hot enough to shower-second pump setup for hand held shower wand - maybe a simple low pressure garden wand). Wish there as a note about the undefined third wire (rpm? temperature of motor?) and a note about continuous operation (is it rated for 120F water for 1-2 hours for example).

Surprisingly powerful little pump
Adorable product. Well made and surprisingly powerful. I'm using it it to drain a backyard fountain and it works great. Only reason I am not giving it five stars, is because the electrical leads are a very fine gauge of wire. When I added spade leads, the copper conductor appear very fragile.

Great little clear water pump
I purchased this to use as a potable water pump from a plastic bucket. I fashioned a hanger rod to hang on bucket side and used window screen on inlet, then used car horn button as a foot switch. vinyl tubing up to counter top sink. Flow was perfect, not overpowering and wasteful. Added hot water to mix without any damage to the pump when warm water desired. (< 120 deg) Works great for the price. 3 wires are a bit confusing but description tells you the one not to use. (yellow one if memory serves me correct) I would purchase this again.

BASICALLY DISPOSABLE! _DO NOT BUY_
At first I was very impressed. I used this to get the last bit of water out of the bilge of my sailboat. This is NOT oily water, just rain water from small leaks, or condensation. Anyway, it worked well enough initially that I even considered using it in my small powerboat. But when I pulled it out yesterday to use it for the 4th or 5th time in as many months - it is DOA. Motor is frozen, will not turn, just gets hot inside the casing - which can't be reasonably opened for fixing it, which I would try if I could. So - on reading other reviews like mine, I have to say this is a 1 Star, Likely Single Use pump, basically disposable and so - just not worth the money. And I think that is a shame, because at first I was really impressed.
