PetArmor Plus Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs, Dog Flea and Tick Treatment, 6 Doses, Waterproof Topical, Fast Acting, X-Large Dogs (89-132 lbs)

I have used Pet Armor for close to 15 years. On my 4 fur babies, never ever had a flea or tick problem. I used to buy a different brand but it was out of stock at Walmart. Pet Armor was the only choice available. I needed something so picked this up. I have been very pleased with it. I would recommend this to anyone who has dogs.

After using Frontline Plus on my dogs for many years, I purchased PETARMOR Plus a year ago from a big box store when it was on available onine at a sale price. It has worked exactly like the name brand product that it was replacing so there was no reason to purchase another product and because Amazon gets this to me in two days at a reduced cost to boot, this is the product I'll continue purchasing. Unlike most people, I squeeze one tube of the liquid into an amber glass vial and measure out the amount needed for each dog according to the PETARMOR information for their weight. The amount of ingredients are the same proportionally in any of their dosage tubes, so I save a few dollars by using this approach. I do wear disposable gloves and dispose of the pipette I use for applications. This product is effective for us for long haired dogs of assorted sizes and has provoked no reactions other than eliminating ticks and fleas. I have very rarely found a dead tick on the floor if the landscapers have not shown up on schedule or we have been hiking in the woods, but I've yet to see a live tick or flea anywhere in the house. I consider this an excellent option at an affordable price and the dogs thank me daily by not scratching or biting at little critters on their skin.There is no expiration date on the box so I called the company to get that information. It is now June of 2018 and the box I received was manufactured on January 30, 2018. Per the customer service representative, it will remain fully effective for at least three years from that date.

This stuff works and is identical to the other "Name Brands" sold at your vet.Here is a fun fact:It doesnt matter what weight class the packaging states, The dosage strength of the active chemical (fipronil) is the same. The only thing that makes a difference is the qauntity that comes in the tubes.For example: the small dog formula contains lesser amount in the tubes than the big dog formula. Even the tubes they send you are the same size, just less chemical inside them.I have 3 dogs, two bigguns and a medium to small one. I initally bought two sets of of Petarmour plus and noticed the similarities.NOTE: The manufacturer says NOT to split the dosages.The packaging ingredients shows the exact same strength of active ingredients. My vet and I discussed this at length about the most popular brand of this product and she confirmed to the best of her knowledge that there is no difference in "strength" only qauntity. It is highly uinlikely that they are formulating a mixture for each dogs' weight class. The logistics and manufacturing ad packaging of this of this would be quadruple the cost.There is alot of overlap on thre dosage chart:4-22 lbs.23-44 lbs.45-88 lbs.89-132 lbs.Lets look at this: A dog at 44lbs gets that same dose as a dog half its size at 23 lbs.They dont want you splitting the dosages because you will mess it up and use too much and make your pet sick, unless you are some sort of careful responsible human being and know how to take precautions and measure things....which according the the sheer amount of warning labels present on products in the world these days...its obvious that we are not. So maybe you should'nt do it.When I buy the large dog package...for some reasosn it's cheaper, I cannot explain this.The little tiny dogs is a few dollars more than the extra large dog...and the amout of product you get in the package is about 1/4 of that of the larger dog size....only explanation, profit and marketing to folks who have doglets.

I will not buy any other flea medicine, than this product! My German Rottweiler has never got a flea and tick on her, she is 3 years old and she has been on this medicine since she was a puppy. I also had other dogs that I used it on and they didn't have any flea or ticks on them and they also tolerated this medicine very well. Roxy only rips up Amazon boxes lol

I've been very happy with this flea and tick prevention treatment. It's fast-acting and kills ticks, which is so important for my dog's health. The fact that it's waterproof is a bonus, especially for those rainy walks. Plus, it's really easy-to-use. I highly recommend it for every dog owner!

It doesn't work.

I have been buying this brand for years.My 3 dogs have never had problems with this brand of flea and tick treatment.They have never had fleas or ticks either (knock on wood).So it must be doing its job!I love how it's affordable as well.
