Great product in a well designed delivery system
By far the best ant eradication product we've purchased. And by far the best delivery method by this manufacturer. This particular housing creates a little protected tub where the liquid is contained but the ants can access freely. You'll get a mass gathering of ants, and then **poof** they all disappear along with your problem. This delivery system is much better than the little plastic tubes sold by the same manufacturer you'll often see at end caps at your local hardware store. I mean it's the same active ingredient, but this way housing is put together is just so much better than its sister product. We put them in strategic spots around the perimeter of the house at the first sighting of ants at the beginning of the season, and then we're pretty much ant free the rest of summer.

Work great!
Every spring we get a ton of ants around all our doors and through the cracks. We’ve had professionals come over the years and have used the indoor traps from this company in the past.Since recently having a dog and a special needs child it always made me uneasy having them inside the house, so was excited to find these for outside the house .These traps have kept the ants outside , I’ve seen maybe only a few in my home since purchasing them.I would set them up in the place you want to keep them in before piercing it open, the bait did spill and I didn’t realize this until after bc it is clear .I would buy again , worked well even though I felt so bad seeing the whole colony working their butts off going back and forth from the trap .

Effective, but design flaws
There are very effective. I gave 4 stars for effectiveness and kept one star for design flaws.I like the old stake style better. In the video for these there are stakes to hold them in place, but the version I received just sit on the ground, no stakes. You also can't set these up without getting the liquid on you. I also was not able to twist like the instructions said, without getting even more of the liquid on me. But like I stated, very effective.

Great way to kill the queen
I use to use an extermination company and one of the guys said to just use this instead. It said the sprays are only temporary. - I am not a big fan of poisons. This works great. It is basically borax, which people use in laundry, and sugar water. After using this, I cancelled the monthly pest control service. This attracts the ants, they eat, take it back to the queen and the nest dies. This is so much safer than the spray poisons. The only issue is it will not get rid of the ants instantly and for a few days, you will actually see an increase in ants.

Gonna commit some antocide!
I have reviewed this product before, just a different amount purchased at once: so not to repeat myself, I am just going to say that I am a very satisfied customer! You can read my previous review via my profile. That said, the last set I bought killed them all off and kept them at bay for almost 3 years so, time to get back at it!You can’t go wrong!

Worked like a dream!
Along the garage there was a troop of ants. I put out one of these and they are completely gone. The whole trap was covered with ant in 30 minutes and now there’s none!

One star is one too many
Description sounded like what I needed. Opened and installed 2 of the baits. Placed them very close to the ant hills. I paid attention to the bait for several days. I noticed the ants didn't go any where near them. I took one of the baits and removed the cap to be sure the liquid had drained into it. It did. But the liquid was almost solidified. Apparently it either dries out very fast or these traps were quite old. Either way, it did not attract any ants. And the ad specifically indicates the ants I have.I'm going to try to get me money back on these.I hope if someone else buys these they have better luck with them.

Stakes for Terro Outdoor Ant Killer T1804-6 are STILL NOT INCLUDED as of March 2025
UPDATE of March 27, 2025: So, I ordered this Terro Outdoor Ant Killer product, T1804-6, again on March 26, 2025 AFTER calling Terro customer service just prior to reordering. I was told by a Terro customer service rep that the ant stakes were to come with this outdoor version of Terro Ant Killer. So, I ordered again from Amazon late yesterday. I ordered a box of 12 and a box of 4. The package arrived early this morning in a PLASTIC BAG. Luckily nothing was damaged this time. There were no stakes included in either set of Terro smaller boxes. The package of 12 had 2 holes in each, diagonal from each other, but no plastic stakes. The package of 4 had no holes and no stakes. I called Terro again today and was told the stakes are no longer included. I said that I hope this message is being recorded, as I don't want to have to collect these plastic ant stakes from all over my shrub bed after the wind blows. I also expressed a safety concern for small children and pets (including squirrels, etc.). I was told that my comments of safety concerns would be submitted to the company with a request for the plastic stakes to be included in the future. Will it happen...who knows? I did let Terro know that other customers are not happy that the stakes were discontinued. In conclusion, this product works great if you can get them to stay in place. Covering them with mulch does not seem to suffice. So, now I am seeking plastic stakes that might fit the ones that do have holes in the base of each unit.>>>>>PREVIOUS comments below:Where are the stakes to secure these TERRO ant stakes in place? I've ordered many of these for years, and I've been very pleased with them; HOWEVER, those TERRO ant stakes I ordered last year had NO STAKES...zero stakes. These little round things won't stay placed near my foundation without the stakes. They wind up all around the bed of shrubs and flowers. My point is to secure them and cover them with mulch. Before I spend $25-$50 again, I want to know if the stakes and the holes for the stakes are currently included in March of 2025. Does anyone know if the stakes and the holes for the ant stakes are included once again???AND,The spiral green version of ant stakes don't work well, because they don't go deep enough into the ground, as the stakes are too blunt...AND, the solid dark green spiral stakes do not contain as much liquid.
