Unrivalled value for money. Simply superb!
What a nostalgic trip down memory lane this was for me. I actually purchased this book for my youngest son so he could experience a little of my ‘old’ childhood world, but I ended up finding ‘Gnasher’ on every page myself too. It’s an extremely well presented and designed book and the quality of the glossy paper is outstanding. Artwork, as you would expect, is stunning and, albeit a little easier for an adult like me to find Gnasher, it kept my son looking for quite some time. There is so many wonderfully illustrated things to see on each page that you invariably end up getting sidetracked from your quest to find Dennis’s hairy pal that it can take a little time to work each page through to completion. The pages are literally rammed chock full of Beano characters and others. For those with good memories, it’s not a book you would revisit much after completing it, but it is well worth the asking price, even for a single run through. We are actually thinking of cutting a few of the more interesting pages out and turning them into a collage display by framing them on my sons bedroom wall. The manufacturers recommend an average age range of seven to nine years old but lets be honest, almost any age group can appreciate this book from young to old. It has a decent amount of pages too, 40 in total so will keep you occupied for a while. Even when you get to the end there is a section which asks you to go back and find some additional items within each picture. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this at all and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. A glorious and incredibly well crafted book that offers unrivalled value for your money. Simply superb!

Great activity book
This is a great activity book! There's the initial pages that introduce the main characters and then multiple pages that you get to look for them. The main protagonist is the dog Gnasher but you can also look for the rest of them once you've found him.The pages are packed with interesting and funny things that are happening and crazy characters! Each different setting gives you a little text explaining where you are and what's occurring. Will Dennis find his best friend? My 3 year old has been loving this book. It's certainly not easy to find gnasher so keeps you interested for longer and she's also been enjoying all the busy-ness and the things that are happening!

Nice book that keeps the kids occupied for ages
This is a very nice book full of colourful and interesting pages with lots of characters and items to find. The illustrations are really lovely and the book's quality is evident. There are many things to find. The only negative things i didnt like were some of the characters in the book such as witches and ghosts and the halloween pages which are not really suitable for younger children as they found them a bit scary. Best for kids 6 or 7 and upwards i would say.

Literally hours of fun. Much better than screens.
This is brilliant. Great way to entertain kids big and small without hurting their eyes with LED screens. The book is printed on good quality paper, the ink is vibrant and crisp. There is so much to look at in the search for Gnasher that will keep kids occupied for hours, once they have finished searching for Gnasher there is a list of other things to search for at the back of the book, challenge your kids to find them all. There are answers at the back of the book but I didn’t look. Great to see Dennis and Gnasher still around, I wanted a dog so bad as a kid and Gnasher was my favourite character.

Colourful and fun and gets you in the Beano mood
Colourful and fun book that's reasonably inexpensive and can be used over and over. Great for kids and adults alike! If you like the Beano you'll like this, and if you like 'where's wally' type books you'll like this too. It's all a trick of the eye... sometimes you happen to alight on the character straight away, other times you can't find them for looking! We also just like looking over all the characters on the pages and seeing the clever cartoonery. Great for story time, holidays, when boredom strikes, and just plain fun. Aimed at age 7-9, I think it's appropriate for younger, and older and all abilities.

Fun for anyone really.
Any fan of the “Where’s so and so” puzzles is sure to enjoy this book, whether you’re a fan of the Beano or not.The printing and artwork are bright and bold, as you would expect from Beano, with the search puzzles being fun and not as easy as I would have thought. In addition, you get some character bio’s, which may contain interesting information even to those familiar with Beano. As an added bonus, at the back of the book there are extra searches you can do for the characters and items listed. All in all, for not a lot of money, this books is sure to help keep anyone entertained for a while, and I don’t just mean the kids.
