Awesome 2 camera system for my rv
I really like several things about this system from DVKNM. First off the system could not be easier to set up. You can lay out where you want the cameras and run the extension cables in no time. Hooking up the cables is super simple and they were more than long enough to route to the front, and then all that was left was mounting the screen and they give you two main options with a bracket or with a base that I chose the bracket since it was very sturdy and gave me a good screen angle. The screen even has a shade to cut down on glare. I ended up putting a tiny Velcro tab on the remote so I could easily grab it and put it right back. I really like the functionality of the system since the cameras have infrared lights that make night time shots look very detailed and they're sealed to make them weatherproof. I can easily see using this system for years. I looked at other systems but this one gives me what I wanted for a good price.

Almost perfect
Another update 8 months after purchase: cameras and still working great. However, the monitor no longer records and is corrupting every SD card I put in it. I didn’t use the recording function frequently, so I’m not sure what happened, but the unit no longer records video.Update after a road trip: while I did have a faulty camera that was stuck on night mode and appeared used, the seller was extremely quick to get me a new camera. So with both cameras working as they should, I can say that the monitor image is fantastic. I’m using one of these as a front bumper camera on my 4Runner to give me a better view of obstacles while exploring trails. The image and fov is excellent and works exactly as I had wanted. The one con I see is the recorded video quality is a bit low/rough as I am unable to read license plates if they are more than 8ft away. However, this was not meant to be a dash cam and is more than suitable for most RV applications for parking, backing to a trailer or just checking clearances. For only being 1080, the clarity is great. Monitor is bright but not overpowering, easy to install and small enough to install in my 4Runner without taking up too much room. Plenty of cable/wire to reach on most vehicles. However, it looks like one of the cameras I received is used. Screws on the housing are rusted. Not a big deal by any means as the camera works fine, just a QC issue that is a bit unsightly.

Rugged and large camera setup.
This is a rugged setup.I say that as don't expect to set it up on a smaller economy car as it will be noticeable, haha.Mounted on a truck and this being a dual camera setup, the second one being on the trailer behind it, so double rear view setup. The 9" screen is massive compared to what's normally installed. You can see my comparison picture on the large upgrade Im getting in my cab. (and water bottle for reference)Cables are super rugged, gonna take the weather (water, direct sun, etc) with no problem.Comes attached with lighter outlet connection, but can be easily cut and directly wired in.

Not bad but…
This is pretty close to what I wanted but at a price I could afford. The good is that the picture is pretty clear. The bad is a few things…First and most important is that it doesn’t seem to record all my trips. There are gaps between recordings that I know should be there but are not. This could be potentially really bad. My next complaint would be at night the cameras switch automatically to a night vision mode. The IR lights that are on it are very weak and without good light being cast by your vehicle you’d probably be better off without the night vision altogether. When you are driving at night and the cameras switch between night mode and normal the screen will flash bright white light… it annoying for it to happen at all, but sometimes it will do it repeatedly due to things like reflections on the road. This and really mess with your night vision.Despite how this may all sound I am still glad to have it, but I really wish I would have saved up my dimes and got what I really wanted.

This is not 1080 and it does not not do the horizontal split screen as described
I received this and installed it today. Installation is very easy.BUT this is listed as a 5 option split screen which includes horizonal. But there are just two options-split 50/50 vertically. Option 1 You have Cam1 & Cam2, Option 2 is Cam2 & Cam1. Second, when you switch it from 720 to 1080 the cams go black.I reached out to support and their response was first to tell me how to select screen split with screenshots. However, the screenshots do not match my unit. I sent photos of my menu options and they responded with "Oh, we removed the horizontal option"They claim that it is a bug that shows it is in 720 but it is actually in 1080. I shoot and edit video for work. It is not running in 1080.One other annoyance, when navigating the menu, the up arrow goes down and the down arrow goes up.
