Hi, no these are not the “waste” roots after distilling fresh vetiver roots. These are the fresh vetiver roots, just dried partially in the shade and partially in the sun. I am sorry we do not ship internationally right now.

Q: should we wash it before infusing?

Hello! Yes we recommend washing them under running water before infusing as they are grown under the ground and tend to have some dirt/soil particles naturally. Washing will clean them and make them ready to use.
